Catch Some Good Craic @ SOULed OUT This March!

For the celebration of the national saint of one, relatively small country, St Patrick’s Day has assumed proportions way beyond Ireland’s borders. As cities all around the world gear-up to go “green” with river dyeing, parades, street carnivals and all manner of free entertainment, KL’s most loved celebration hub, SOULed OUT, has concocted their own offerings for the celebration.

SOULed PUT St Patrick’s Day food and drinks promotion

Since we all get a little bit Irish every March, SOULed OUT has whipped together an exclusive food and beverage menu that revellers can indulge in from March 1st – 31st, 2020. Of course, in true St. Patrick’s Day spirit, the curated cuisine has been infused with the world’s most loved stout, Guinness.

Golden Chicken Nuggets with Guinness Infused Sauce

Available in all SOULed OUT outlets, punters can now satiate their palates with the must-not-miss Golden Chicken Nuggets; a hearty portion of thick, juicy chicken cooked to crispy perfection and served with a dollop of Japanese Mayo with caramelised brown sugar infused with Guinness @ RM18++. Or if poultry is not your thing, then dig into the Guinness Infused Fish & Chips with wedges. This may be a humble dish but getting it right is serious business. The key to a killer fish and chips? Getting the fish right. This SOULed OUT masterpiece uses Dover Sole fish which is dense and robust and has a decent amount of fat and sweetness. From there, a touch of Guinness added to the batter turns the breaded coating extra crisp and flaky as soon as it hits the fryer. Coupled with thick hand-cut wedges and platted with a healthy amount of tartar sauce, this mouth-watering dish is all taste and priced at RM40++.

To wash down all that tantalising goodness, there is the Guinness Milkshake @ RM21++, a delicious combination of Guinness Draught and Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream, creating the perfect dessert-inspired cocktail and Guinness Lychee Shooters, a fun sized concoction of Guinness liquorice syrup, lychee, Malta and topped with whipped cream at RM30++.

Also available now until March 31st, patrons at SOULed OUT will enjoy awesome redemptions and discounts whenever they purchase a coupon booklet of 5 pints of Guinness @ RM110++. The coupon booklet also comes with two 20% discount vouchers on all SOULed OUT St. Pat’s food specials all month long. In addition, purchasing a coupon booklet will net customers a limited-edition Guinness mug.

To commemorate the actual celebration, SOULed OUT Kuala Lumpur will be hosting the outlet’s annual Saint Patrick’s Day Party on Saturday, March 21st at 7pm. Reserve your spot now to enjoy a night of live retro music by Church Mouse, an Irish Dance Parade and test your skills on the Guinness 2-Part Pour Challenge. There will also be lots of fun and games such as the Lucky Irish Challenge, Guinness Trivia, Guinness Moustache challenge and if you purchase a beer booklet on the day, you will be able to have your mugshot printed on Guinness foam, aptly named the ‘Guinness Stoutie’

It’s an entire month of all things St. Pat’s, so best dust off your Leprechaun gear and get to it.

WIP Goes Doubly Green This March

While the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations range from extravagant to bizarre this month of March, WIP Bangsar is adopting a more subtle and modest approach to celebrate the festivities.

Throughout the entire month patrons of WIP will be able to purchase their very own Guinness beer booklet at RM78++ which will bag them five perfect pints of Guinness. That’s not all though, this special codex also entitles Guinness fans to 20% off specially curated Guinness infused dishes that is sure to leave food lovers coming back for more and one lucky token. Once punters have collected two lucky tokens, they can quickly redeem a Limited-Edition Guinness mug.

BBQ Stout Meatballs

On the menu for St. Paddy’s month are two top-notch eats, the BBQ Stout Meatballs and the Guinness Chicken Fricasse. Foodies can choose to chow down on a plate of generously sized meatballs infused with Guinness and smothered in a sweet and savoury Guinness BBQ Sauce served over a bed of creamy mash potatoes only for RM23++ or go for poultry; a classic French dish with tender chicken braised in a creamy white Guinness sauce at RM27++. Whatever tickles your fancy, you can rest assured, both dishes are equally explosive.

All month long, a set of six Guinness Raspberry Shooters @ RM26++ will also be available. This fun-sized concoction is doused with Guinness liquorice syrup, raspberries, Malta and topped with whipped cream – guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning drinkers.

For the main celebration day, the 17th of March, patrons will have a chance to see if they’ve been blessed with the luck of the Irish as WIP staff make their way around the tables.

Later on, in the month, WIP will be celebrating Mother Earth as it goes completely dark for one hour on the 28th March in conjunction with Earth Hour. It will be lights out from 8:30pm to 9:30pm and WIP encourages everyone to come by and join cause.
