DAY 2 … CELUK VILLAGE, KINTAMANI VOLCANO Hire a tour guide, motorcycle as my transportation because im traveling alone.. is not worth if i rent car / van…. plus more cheap.. 220,000rp only for one day tour.. but one problem…touring under blazing hot sun…I got a pretty bad sunburn …lol.. 

Bali Mandara Toll Road…which is built over the sea is the longest of its kind in Indonesia (12km), the toll road has a special dedicated lane for motorbikes…

First destination… Celuk Village, could become a haven of considerable interest, especially for those of you who like to see and buy jewelry made from gold and silver. The type of gold and silver craft has been produced in this countryside are covering various of rings, bangles, chokers, earrings, pearls, broach and other types…. and its not cheap… 😛

Next, visited coffee plantation in Ubud. It is interesting to see the whole process of coffee making. Had a short coffee tasting session where the coffee guide lady promoted like 12 assorted flavours of drinks such as ginger coffee,vanilla coffee,lemon grass, coconut coffee, rice tea, and etc.. and its FREE !!!… except Kopi Luwak (need to buy)…

Continue my journey to Kintamani Volcano & Mount Batur….. not my day…top part of the volcano cannot be seen….huhu… i suggest yall to come during before lunch time, as it’s usually cloudy and foggy in the morning and late afternoon and u can’t really see everything…..

The last explode date is happened in 1963. You can see the lava mark on the mountain. The black and dark burning mark on the green field can be seen clearly!!

Next stop, Tegalalang Rice Terrace ….one of the well-known rice terraces in Ubud .. The rice terrace is designed very beautiful with exquisite hollowing rice field and precisely located on the hill bank…Anyone who comes to Ubud, must visit Tegalalang rice field!!

Tegalalang Rice Terrace….breathtaking view.. surrounded with lush greenery and a very quiet atmosphere…

The steep hillside, the morning light, the lush green rice plants makes this a paradise.
